An easy, three-ingredient juice recipe that brings together the natural sweetness of Honeycrisp apples, the earthy flavor of sweet potato, and the warmth of cinnamon.

There's something about fall that makes me want to revisit certain recipes. You know, the ones that never get old, no matter how many times you've made them.

For me, this apple, sweet potato, and cinnamon juice is one of those recipes.

It's been a favorite in my household for quite some time, and for good reason. It's naturally sweet, has a unique flavor profile, and uses just three ingredients that are relatively affordable and easy to find throughout the year.

But when the temperatures start dropping and fall rolls around, this combination just hits differently.

So, when I got my hands on the new Kuvings AUTO10 Square Juicer, I knew exactly which recipe I wanted to make first.

And I had another reason for choosing this one: I wanted to see how the AUTO10 Square would handle something a little tougher than your typical apples and leafy greens.

I'm talking about raw sweet potatoes.

A Simple Juice Recipe That's Perfect for Fall

One thing I've always appreciated about juicing is how a handful of simple ingredients can come together to create something surprisingly delicious.

This recipe is a perfect example.

The Honeycrisp apples provide a crisp, refreshing sweetness, while the red sweet potato adds a subtle earthy flavor that complements the apples beautifully.

Then there's the cinnamon.

That final touch brings everything together, giving the juice a warm, comforting flavor that reminds me of fall.

And while I especially enjoy this recipe during autumn and winter, the ingredients are available year-round, so there's really no reason to limit it to one season.

Apple, Sweet Potato & Cinnamon Juice Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 Honeycrisp apples

  • 1 medium red sweet potato

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (I prefer Ceylon cinnamon, but regular cinnamon works too)

Equipment

  • Kuvings AUTO10 Square Juicer, or another juicer suitable for firm root vegetables

  • Knife and cutting board

  • Potato Peeler

  • Glass or serving container

  • Spoon for stirring

Instructions

  1. Wash your produce. Thoroughly wash the apples and scrub the sweet potato to remove any dirt.

  2. Prepare the ingredients. Cut the apples, peel and cut sweet potato as needed for your juicer.

  3. Start juicing. Add the apples and raw sweet potato to your juicer and allow the machine to extract the juice.

  4. Add the cinnamon. Once the juice has been extracted, stir in one teaspoon of ground cinnamon until well combined. I personally prefer Ceylon cinnamon for its delicate flavor.

  5. Serve and enjoy. Pour into your favorite glass, give it one final stir, and enjoy!

A quick tip: Ground cinnamon doesn't dissolve completely in juice, so you may notice a little settling. Just give your glass another stir before drinking.

Breaking In the Kuvings AUTO10 Square

Now, let's talk about the juicer.

The first thing that caught my attention about the Kuvings AUTO10 Square was its design.

It's sleek, modern, and has a clean look that fits beautifully into a kitchen setup.

But as much as I appreciate good design, performance is what really matters to me.

And that's exactly why I chose this particular recipe to break it in.

Sweet potatoes are dense, firm root vegetables. They're not necessarily the first ingredient that comes to mind when most people think about juicing.

I wanted to see how the AUTO10 Square would handle that tougher produce, especially alongside the apples.

How Did It Perform?

I was genuinely impressed with how smoothly the process went.

The AUTO10 Square handled the ingredients with minimal effort, and one of the things I noticed immediately was how quiet it was during operation.

That made the overall juicing experience even more enjoyable.\

Another thing that stood out was the pulp.

After the extraction process, the pulp was impressively dry, which was encouraging to see. While I didn't measure the exact juice yield, the texture of the leftover pulp was a positive sign from my first experience using the machine.

For me, those little details matter.

A juicer can look great sitting on the countertop, but I want something that makes the actual process convenient and enjoyable, too.

Based on this first recipe, the AUTO10 Square made a strong impression.

Why This Recipe Deserves a Spot in Your Juicing Rotation

If you're looking to experiment with ingredients beyond the usual fruits and vegetables, this is a great place to start.

Here's why I keep coming back to it:

  • Only three ingredients: No complicated shopping list or hard-to-find additions.

  • Easy to enjoy year-round: Apples, sweet potatoes, and cinnamon are widely available.

  • Budget-conscious: A relatively simple combination that doesn't require an extensive produce haul.

  • Unique flavor: Sweet, earthy, and lightly spiced without needing added sugar.

  • Perfect for seasonal inspiration: It captures some of my favorite fall flavors in one glass.

And while I love the cozy flavor of this juice, I also believe in keeping juicing as part of a varied, balanced diet rather than treating it as a replacement for whole fruits and vegetables.

Final Thoughts

Sometimes the best recipes aren't the most complicated ones.

They're the ones you genuinely enjoy making again and again.

This apple, sweet potato, and cinnamon juice has earned its place as a household favorite, and I have a feeling it'll continue making appearances in my kitchen for years to come.

It also turned out to be the perfect recipe for my first experience with the Kuvings AUTO10 Square.

Between the sleek design, quiet operation, smooth processing, and impressively dry pulp, I walked away feeling really good about its performance.

If you've never tried juicing a sweet potato before, this might be your sign to give it a shot.
